Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma, establish coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions per legal and ethical standards in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Preferred two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.
