Work Environment

As a Floater Physical Therapist, your primary work setting will be onsite at various outpatient clinics throughout Nevada. You will experience a collaborative environment equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and practices. The schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life dynamic while allowing you to immerse yourself in different clinic cultures and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized care to patients, conducting thorough assessments to create tailored treatment plans in alignment with their health goals.
• Adapt quickly to different electronic medical records (EMR) systems, workflows, and team dynamics at various clinic locations.
• Serve as a vital resource by covering for staff physical therapists on leave or during peak patient volume periods, ensuring seamless patient care continuity.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment and enhance communication.
• Engage in regular system-wide meetings and participation in continuing education sessions to stay updated with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation services. This includes working with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current Nevada state license or eligibility for licensure.

• Willingness to travel between clinic sites; specific travel radius will be discussed during the interview.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic or sports therapy settings, with a keen focus on rehabilitation best practices.
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) or interest in pursuing specialized certifications.
