Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in scenic Pahrump, Nevada. Our facility is designed to provide a comfortable, professional ambiance that fosters healing and rehabilitation. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific patient goals, utilizing a combination of hands-on therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Administer advanced therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and functional training, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Provide ongoing education to patients regarding body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and effective home exercise programs.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as they evolve.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient treatment and well-being.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols, documenting all interventions and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters to a diverse patient population, ranging from post-surgical recovery clients to those managing chronic conditions such as arthritis, back pain, and mobility issues. Our therapists specialize in treating a wide array of conditions, including tendonitis, sprains, strains, fractures, and balance disorders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to enhance patients' quality of life through compassionate care and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is essential.
• A minimum of five years of professional clinical experience in physical therapy, with proven success in treating a broad spectrum of conditions.
• Proficiency in various advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing patient conditions and developing effective interventions.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of five years of clinical experience, candidates with experience in outpatient settings, specifically managing a caseload that includes surgical patients or sports medicine, will be given preference. Familiarity with rehabilitation technology and software for patient management will also be highly regarded.
