Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Body and Spine PT, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and limitations.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Administering interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training designed to restore mobility, improve strength, and enhance overall physical function.
• Educating patients about injury prevention, proper movement mechanics, and the importance of maintaining consistent home exercise programs for ongoing recovery.
• Collaborating closely with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patient progress in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to ensure efficient and thorough communication across the care team.
• Staying current with advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation to continuously improve patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with an active patient population dealing with a range of orthopedic issues, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation following surgeries, and patients experiencing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding these patients through their recovery journeys, ensuring that they regain their desired levels of physical activity.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications:

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent educational background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively with colleagues.
• Demonstrated capability to design and execute patient-centric treatment plans.
