This role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver counseling services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients’ needs, strengths, and challenges, leading to the creation of tailored treatment plans that are measurable and goal-focused.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, effectively utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to enhance mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups to empower patients, foster community connections, and address common mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with fellow team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure cohesive and integrated care, optimizing treatment strategies for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services, being prepared to assist patients during mental health emergencies with timely and compassionate responses.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and community resources available to them, enhancing their ability to engage with their care effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient privacy and data integrity.

• Actively participate in case consultations, ongoing team meetings, and professional development activities to continually refine clinical skills and knowledge.

As a licensed mental health therapist at LifeWorks, you will serve a diverse patient population, primarily focused on adults and adolescents experiencing symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders, as well as individuals suffering from substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders alongside evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy across diverse populations, with a strong focus on building rapport with patients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enhance therapeutic relationships and patient engagement.

• Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and standards.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technological tools for patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting, preferably in telehealth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
