Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations across various age groups, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational skills.
• Create tailored treatment plans aimed at fulfilling immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Implement individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language abilities, fluency, voice modulation, and safe swallowing practices.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members, to forge cohesive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families, empowering them to support continued progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatment, ensuring an uninterrupted care pathway.
• Ensure consistent and precise documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with innovations in the field through collaborative efforts and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
