Work Environment

This full-time position is situated onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Hollywood, Florida. Our collaborative workspace encourages team engagement and open communication among staff, promoting optimal workflow and patient care. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing consistent, uninterrupted patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient assessments and needs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions aimed at improving and restoring movement, strength, and flexibility.
• Educate patients on self-management techniques and exercises that they can implement outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance the overall care provided to each patient.
• Document all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with regulatory requirements and to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality engagement and personalized care.
• Promote a culture of wellness and physical health through community outreach and educational programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. You will work closely with adolescents, adults, and the elderly, tailoring your strategies to match their unique recovery needs. Emphasis is placed on fostering an encouraging environment, helping clients regain confidence in their physical abilities and promoting long-term health benefits.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• A working knowledge of diverse therapeutic modalities and approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
