Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Provide consultation to clinical teams regarding pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments and positive behavior support plans.

• Complete necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and within specified timeframes.
\n
• Utilize established evidence-based screening tools and methodologies in the assessment process, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of client needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective behavior support plans that enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Actively engage in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the standards and integrity of our organization.

• Serve as a liaison to relevant service providers, state agencies, and community organizations, advocating for client needs.

• Create and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders to support client service delivery and enhance program visibility.

• Foster relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, identifying opportunities for collaboration, alliance-building, and funding streams.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, such as conferences and workshops, to ensure continuous growth in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population that includes individuals facing emotional dysregulation, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from brain injuries. Your role is critical in creating supportive environments that empower clients to achieve their personal wellness goals while addressing their specific challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in a mental health-related field, such as psychology, counseling, or social work.

• Must possess an independent LMHC license to practice in the state of Maryland, or be willing to move forward with licensure assistance if currently licensed in another state.
