Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health, including diagnostic evaluations and risk assessments.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and specific client needs.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing clients with coping strategies and tools to manage their mental health challenges.

• Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to offer comprehensive care.

• Document all interactions and treatment progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

• Participate in regular case consultations and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve engaging with a wide variety of clients, including individuals struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. You will develop culturally responsive approaches tailored to meet the diverse needs of our patient population, ensuring that each client feels supported and understood throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in New York State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.

• Minimum of four years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of EHR systems and technological tools necessary for delivering high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
