Lift Emotion Counseling Center is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers – Registered (LCSW-R). In this remote role, you will provide critical mental health services through telehealth, allowing you to connect with clients across Buffalo, New York, and beyond. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to empower clients as they navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to craft individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to foster client engagement and growth.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulatory standards, while facilitating seamless communication within the treatment team.

• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team, consisting of psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care, engage in regular care consultations, and enhance the quality of service delivered to clients.

• Educate and support clients and their families, providing crucial information about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to promote understanding and involvement in the care process.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and advancements in mental health to continuously enhance patient care and therapeutic outcomes.

Lift Emotion Counseling Center serves a diverse client population in need of mental health care. You will work closely with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and stress-related issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each with unique stories and needs, providing an enriching and impactful practice environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, obtained from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated ability to apply solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored to each client’s specific needs, with a strong commitment to providing compassionate and effective care.
