Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, develop clinical diagnoses, and create tailored treatment plans that consider individual needs and therapeutic goals.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention services, including immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and psychosocial assessments while adhering to all ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, which may involve regular meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training programs, workshops, and relevant courses to ensure practices remain up to date with the latest in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working closely with a diverse population, including adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health therapy license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Virginia is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities to inform treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated experience of at least two years in a relevant mental health context.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
