Shift Type: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $62.30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adults recovering from surgery, managing diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, cancer and general weakness
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, escalating changes early to keep patients safe
• Administer medications, start IVs and manage Alaris pumps with confidence and accuracy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build and adjust care plans that truly fit each patient
• Float as needed to 6E, the acute rehab unit and geriatric psych, bringing your skills wherever they matter most
• Document thoroughly and efficiently in Epic so the whole care team stays in sync
• Educate patients and families so they leave feeling prepared and empowered
• Serve a wonderfully diverse community, including African American and Korean speaking patient populations, with respect and cultural humility

Qualifications

• Active RN license with the ability to submit your license right away
• At least 2 years of RN experience, ideally in telemetry and medical surgical settings
• Current BLS Certification
• Comfortable caring for adults with a small sprinkle of pediatric patients, though peds is not required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• A valid driver's license at submittal, since we confirm you live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Not currently full time, part time or PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI or Dignity facilities
• A positive mindset, a team player attitude and a genuine heart for patients

Education

• Trauma Level: 2
• Charting System: EPIC
• Unit Notes: *AUTO OFFER*
• * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *
• Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with Common Spirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
