Account Manager

Account Manager White Cap is hiring immediately for an Account Manager. This role helps build America’s skyline and your own future. The position involves building relationships and developing plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts. Responsibilities Build relationships and develop plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts. Generate viable sales leads and prospects through market and account research, sales events, networking, vendor events and computer programs. Contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business. Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts. Team with individuals within sales and key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales. Be accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin and controllable expense objectives. Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service related issues. Maintain current and competent base of product knowledge and apply that knowledge when servicing customers. Maintain and submit all required sales administration reports. Attend company meetings regularly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Generally 2‑5 years of experience. Operate a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle consistently more than 20% of the average work week. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be required and must be acceptable. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Outside Sales to professional contractors. Familiarity with Company products and services. Spanish language proficiency.
