This role offers a remote work setting, combined with in-person sessions conducted at our outpatient office located in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, either in-home or at our outpatient center, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide targeted interventions aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and developing essential coping and social skills.

• Work closely with caregivers to enhance their decision-making abilities and equip them with strategies to manage behavioral challenges within the home.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to create cohesive treatment plans and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Document all necessary clinical paperwork—including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes—accurately and within designated time frames.

• Participate in monthly clinical meetings to review cases and share insights as part of our commitment to team-based care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse cross-section of children aged 3 to 20 who face developmental and intellectual disabilities. This includes providing therapeutic support to youth experiencing challenges such as social dysfunction, behavioral issues, and emotional distress. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating their unique needs and fostering a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is required.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is essential.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with weekend availability considered an asset.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for in-home visits.
\n
• All applicants must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure the safety of our clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support.
\n
• Previous involvement working with children and adolescents with intellectual/developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable, as this will allow for effective communication with a broader demographic of clients.
