Responsibilities Include:
- Auditing and verifying employee time and labor data, resolving discrepancies with supervisors.
- Processing multi-state payroll for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employees.
- Ensuring accurate calculation and processing of all taxes, benefits, and deductions, including garnishments.
- Assisting with payroll account balancing and resolving discrepancies.
- Responding to employee payroll inquiries.
- Managing garnishment processes and communication.
- Maintaining payroll system compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including setting up new tax accounts and managing filings.
- Managing payroll details and reporting for assigned divisions.
- Generating payroll reports and processing employment verifications.
- Researching and resolving payroll tax issues with government agencies.
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience with multi-state payroll, garnishments, and automated timesheets preferred.
- Experience with payroll HCM software - Ceridian/Dayforce or Workday is a plus.
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication
