Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patient needs, preferences, and personal circumstances, which inform tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, adapting techniques for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, bringing individuals together to discuss common mental health issues and foster a sense of belonging.

• Work collaboratively with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive, individualized care plans are implemented successfully.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies and ensuring patient safety.

• Educate patients on mental health issues, the therapeutic process, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and confidentially in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and attend team meetings to discuss patient progress and continue your professional development.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required for this role.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Texas.
