Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, effectively formulating clinical diagnoses, and collaboratively developing treatment plans that address individual needs.

• Providing therapy through individual sessions, group therapy, and family counseling using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other appropriate methodologies.

• Delivering crisis intervention services to clients facing urgent mental health issues, helping them navigate immediate challenges and develop coping strategies.

• Maintaining electronic records that document treatment plans, session notes, and assessments in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality is prioritized.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to synthesize care efforts and provide holistic services that meet the varied needs of clients.

• Educating clients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic processes, and community resources available to support their wellness journey.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to remain current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide range of clients, including those coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client will play a critical role in enhancing their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling or therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
