Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellpath Counseling, your day will include a range of responsibilities aimed at facilitating positive therapeutic outcomes. Key activities will involve:

• Collaborating with colleagues and participating in weekly Child and Family team meetings to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.

• Conducting thorough client assessments to evaluate mental health conditions, developing individualized treatment strategies, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation for all client interactions.
\n
• Preparing detailed treatment updates and discharge reports, ensuring compliance with agency standards, contractual obligations, and licensing requirements.
\n
• Implementing effective, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents, while continuously monitoring and adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs.

• Upholding the highest standards of client confidentiality and maintaining the integrity and safety of all client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on addressing the needs of children, adolescents, and their families experiencing mental health challenges. You will work with clients who may be dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and family dynamics. Your role is pivotal in providing not just therapy, but also guidance and support to families, building their resilience and equipping them with tools to navigate their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must hold a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of Washington.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required for this role.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a therapeutic setting is essential, demonstrating your proficiency in managing diverse clinical situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years, we value additional experience in evidence-based practices, working with youth and families, and familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation systems. Experience with community resources in Spokane and surrounding areas would also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
