Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique goals, preferences, and needs, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and responses to therapy.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to promote understanding and participation in their recovery.

• Engage in case consultations and collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other therapists for integrated care to ensure comprehensive support for your clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele consists of individuals affected by mood disorders, including but not limited to, those experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a broad range of patients, from young adults to older individuals, helping them navigate their unique challenges and fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

• A compassionate and nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences and personal struggles.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently to handle a diverse caseload and administrative tasks.
