Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' trauma history and establish tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and regularly modify individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist clients in processing their trauma, developing resilience, and adopting effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide a holistic and integrated approach to care.

• Offer crisis intervention support to clients during trauma-related emergencies, using your expertise to navigate high-pressure situations effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, helping them to cultivate understanding and resilience in their healing journeys.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in alignment with all legal and ethical standards to support optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support a diverse client population impacted by various forms of trauma. We work with individuals experiencing symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, tailoring our approach to meet their unique needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
