Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This position supports a diverse caseload across three school sites: preschool, elementary, and middle school settings. You'll play a vital role in helping students develop crucial communication skills throughout their academic journey.

The assignment is connected to a Leave of Absence coverage with flexible dates, projected for a mid-October start and the likelihood of extending through the end of the school year. You’ll manage a manageable caseload averaging 55 students per school. As an on-site professional, you’ll collaborate with educational teams, families, and staff, making a tangible difference each day.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active and valid California SLP license required
• Previous experience working within school settings, including preschool, elementary, or middle school populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively document progress and collaborate with colleagues and families
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide direct speech/language therapy services and conduct assessments as needed
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate records and stay compliant with state and district guidelines
• Travel between assigned campuses within the San Juan Capistrano area
