This contract opportunity supports students from preschool through middle school, addressing a range of communication needs during a Leave of Absence period. Work alongside other professionals in a dynamic, student-centered environment, with a full-time schedule spanning five days a week. Start dates may vary, with opportunities to extend potentially through the end of the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, active California SLP license required
• Experience in school-based settings working with preschool, elementary, and/or middle school students is preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy for an average caseload of approximately 55 students per SLP
• Serve students in designated preschool, elementary, and middle school campuses in the San Juan Capistrano area
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
• Deliver direct therapy in individual and group formats, both in classrooms and designated therapy spaces
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on intervention plans
• Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with all district and state regulations
