Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the San Juan Capistrano area. This full-time, on-site role involves working across preschool, elementary, and middle school settings and is ideal for adaptable professionals seeking a dynamic school-based environment. As part of this assignment, you’ll serve approximately 55 students per SLP for a leave of absence coverage. Assignments are set in welcoming schools with supportive colleagues, and there’s a strong likelihood for continued opportunities after the initial contract ends.

What you’ll need to succeed here:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP license required
• School-based experience preferred (preschool, elementary, or middle school)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and positivity in a diverse student environment

What your days may include:

• Conducting assessments and managing a caseload of diverse students (preschool through middle school)
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff
• Documenting progress and contributing to IEP meetings
• Supporting students with a range of speech and language needs during a temporary leave absence

Your schedule will closely follow the academic calendar, with full-time hours spread across five days a week during school hours. This opportunity is available starting mid-October and could extend through the end of the academic year.
