Job DetailsJob Location: Gorilla Glue Tri County - Sharonville, OH 45241 Summary Description: The Vice President, Home Center is responsible for leading the strategic direction, growth, and execution of the company’s Home Center channel across The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards. This leader drives top-line revenue, customer partnerships, and cross-functional alignment to deliver profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, and advance long-term market share within the channel. This role spans national account leadership, field execution, and integrated go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and merchandising. Core Competencies: Building Partnerships Collaboration Communication Critical Thinking Customer Focus Decision Making Leadership Needs-Orientation Problem Solving Strategic Planning Team Development Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Growth Own full P&L responsibility for the Home Center channel (THD, Lowe’s, Menards) Develop and execute multi-year growth strategy aligned to enterprise priorities Identify and unlock new revenue streams, assortments, and channel expansion opportunities Lead annual business planning, including customer JBP (Joint Business Planning) processes Customer Leadership & Relationship Management Serve as executive sponsor for key customer relationships across Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards Build and maintain senior-level partnerships with merchant, supply chain, and executive stakeholders Negotiate large-scale agreements including pricing, promotions, assortment, and placement Drive best-in-class customer engagement and differentiation in a highly competitive environment Sales Execution & Field Leadership Lead Directors, National Account Managers and field sales teams supporting Home Center accounts Ensure strong linkage between headquarters strategy and in-store/field execution Drive accountability for distribution, merchandising excellence, and retail execution standards Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to ensure delivery of plan Cross-Functional Alignment Partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams Ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies across innovation, promotions, and seasonal programs Influence product development and portfolio strategy based on customer and market insights Drive alignment on forecasting, inventory planning, and service levels Team Leadership & Talent Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Home Center sales organization Coach and develop NAMs and Directors across key accounts (THD, Lowe’s, Menards) Establish clear performance expectations and accountability frameworks Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement Analytics & Performance Management Leverage data and insights to drive decision-making across pricing, promotions, and assortment Track performance vs. plan, identify risks/opportunities, and implement corrective actions Utilize POS data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize execution Qualifications & Experience 12–15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with significant exposure to Home Center customers Deep expertise in managing large national accounts (Home Depot, Lowe’s strongly preferred; Menards a plus) Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex customer relationships Experience leading both strategic account teams and field execution organizations Strong business acumen, including P&L management and financial planning Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership Success Metrics Revenue and market share growth within Home Center channel Customer satisfaction and strength of partnerships (THD, Lowe’s, Menards) Execution excellence (distribution, placement, merchandising compliance) Team performance, engagement, and development Delivery against annual operating plan (AOP) Company Values: Have fun, be passionate and show it!
