Strategic Account Manager, Cardiology

Blue Earth Diagnostics, an indirect subsidiary of Bracco Imaging S.p.A., focuses on developing PET radiopharmaceuticals for cancer. Job Purpose Reporting to the Director, Strategic Accounts, the Strategic Account Manager (SAM) will represent the Bracco Diagnostics, Inc. (BDI) Molecular Imaging portfolio, including CardioGen-82, HeartSee, and potential future cardiac PET imaging solutions. The SAM will play a critical role in managing and growing large strategic accounts, supporting lifecycle management and clinical product development initiatives, and leading strategic projects focused on profitability improvement, operational efficiency, and commercial optimization. This individual will serve as a key liaison across customers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), commercial leadership, marketing, medical affairs, reimbursement, operations, and executive leadership to support long-term growth and adoption of cardiac PET imaging solutions. Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks Strategic Account Leadership Lead strategic account management activities across large integrated delivery networks (IDNs), private cardiology practices, imaging networks, and enterprise healthcare organizations. Develop and maintain long-term executive relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, imaging directors, operational leaders, and KOLs. Retain, grow, and expand utilization across strategic accounts within the BDI Molecular Imaging, Cardiology portfolio. Partner with field sales leadership and cross‑functional teams to support strategic account planning, customer engagement, and execution of growth initiatives. Maintain deep understanding of cardiac PET trends, reimbursement dynamics, competitive positioning, and healthcare system priorities. Clinical Product Development & Lifecycle Management Partner with KOLs, physicians, technologists, and commercial leadership to gather customer insights and feedback related to current and future product development needs. Support lifecycle management initiatives for CardioGen-82, HeartSee, and potential future BDI Molecular Imaging, Cardiology portfolio assets. Coordinate commercial readiness and go‑to‑market (GTM) activities for New Product Introductions (NPIs), including: Customer targeting Quote and proposal language CRM/SFDC opportunity management Commercial field communication Training coordination Support the strategic expansion and adoption of HeartSee coronary flow reserve and quantitative cardiac PET analysis solutions by partnering with clinical and commercial teams to integrate HeartSee into customer workflows, physician education programs, and enterprise imaging initiatives. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Operations, Reimbursement, and Regulatory teams to support product adoption and customer success. Strategic Initiatives Lead and support strategic initiatives focused on profitability improvement, operational efficiency, and long‑term commercial growth. Support development of pricing strategies, workflow enhancements, and customer retention initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve serviceability, equipment utilization, and operational scalability across the installed customer base. Gather competitive intelligence, market insights, customer feedback, and cardiac PET trends to support strategic business planning and future investment priorities. Support development of educational programs, congress strategy, physician roundtables, customer advisory initiatives, and clinical collaborations focused on cardiac PET imaging and quantitative flow analysis. Assist leadership with execution of high‑priority commercial and operational initiatives. Other duties as determined by business needs. Education / Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or completion of a certificate program. Professional Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, radiopharmaceuticals, molecular imaging, or cardiac imaging. Strong knowledge of cardiac PET imaging, molecular imaging workflows, and quantitative flow technologies preferred. Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT, ARRT(N), or equivalent) and PET specialty certification preferred. Experience working across both provider and industry/commercial healthcare environments preferred. Strong understanding of cardiac PET imaging, radiopharmaceuticals, quantitative flow analysis, and healthcare economics. Demonstrated experience managing large strategic accounts and executive‑level customer relationships. Experience working cross‑functionally within highly matrixed organizations. Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to influence stakeholders across commercial, operational, and clinical functions. Experience with CRM systems and strategic account planning processes. Ability to travel 50%+ with overnights required.
