Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Employ evidence-based mental health therapy techniques and interventions tailored to individuals and families, targeting diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop initial discharge plans in collaboration with clients.

• Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions in line with each patient’s treatment plan.

• Prepare initial treatment plans based on assessments, coordinating additional services and making necessary revisions.

• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy services according to facility and professional standards, continuously updating as necessary.

• Manage an assigned caseload effectively, ensuring that all clients receive the attention and care they deserve.

• Engage in collaborative treatment team meetings, working closely with other staff members to enhance patient care delivery.

• Exhibit a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards all clients, and actively work to address any unmet patient needs.

• Perform additional functions and tasks as assigned by management to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Your practice will encompass a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.

• Valid state or national licensure as a mental health therapy provider, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years’ experience working with varied populations is required, candidates with a background in providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults will be preferred. Familiarity with outpatient care models and evidence-based practices in mental health therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
