Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive assessments to understand the needs of clients and their families.

• Develop personalized therapeutic plans that prioritize skill-building, resilience, and emotional growth for individuals, couples, and families.

• Create and implement crisis intervention and safety plans that provide structured support, helping clients to navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Utilize telehealth technology to maintain regular contact with clients, providing therapy sessions that are both impactful and accessible.

• Document therapy sessions accurately in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your approach will be tailored to meet the unique cultural and personal contexts of each client, ensuring that they feel respected and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Virginia is essential to practice legally and effectively.

• Demonstrated competency in working with a variety of complex client needs, employing evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for developing strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting, previously working with families and individuals.

• Experience with teletherapy or telehealth platforms is preferred, as we aim to provide effective care remotely.
