Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct remote therapy sessions with clients of various backgrounds using secure video platforms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for open dialogue.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' concerns and challenges during sessions.

• Provide clients with guidance, emotional support, and practical coping strategies to assist them in managing daily stressors and long-term mental health issues.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic records of client progress, treatment objectives, and changes in mental health status using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community support services, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and best practices through continuous professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele comprising children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. Clients may come from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Your sensitivity to these differences will be crucial in delivering culturally competent care and fostering therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid California licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in therapeutic roles is mandatory, particularly with children, adolescents, and adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Guiding Light Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $122,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
