Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Russell Tobin Sr. Associate Recruiter at Russell Tobin Job Description Position: Revenue Accountant Type: Permanent Summary: Our client, a leading global investment firm specializing in private markets, is seeking a meticulous Revenue Accountant to join their Accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with at least 3 years of experience , who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to deepen their expertise in revenue recognition and accounts receivable within the private equity industry. Key Responsibilities: Review client contracts to understand fee structures and services provided. Set up customers, create billing schedules, and generate invoices in the ERP system. Monitor AR inquiries and ensure prompt resolution of client billing questions. Track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts. Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, account reconciliations, and other revenue-related transactions. Assist with intercompany fee-sharing transactions between subsidiaries. Complete month-end close tasks and reporting within tight deadlines. Record cash receipts and initiate wire transfers for third-party payments. Coordinate with the Fund Accounting team on fee calculations and payments. Update cash flow forecasts and assist with treasury reporting. Provide audit support and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed. Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, with a focus on revenue and AR. Solid understanding of revenue recognition and AR processes. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred. Prior experience handling multiple entities, global offices, and foreign currency transactions is a plus. Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office. High attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
