As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report observations, and assist visitors and staff with professional communication and customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government facilities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and vehicle patrols of assigned government buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify authorized access and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communications with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
