Experienced Physician Assistant - Pain Management Specialist

Stonebridge Pain Solutions is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team in Poughkeepsie, New York. Work Environment

Your role will be onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Poughkeepsie, a vibrant and growing community in the Hudson Valley. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including obtaining detailed medical histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and evaluate customized treatment plans for each patient.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions based on evidence-based practices.
• Perform pain management procedures, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, as credentialed and required.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing education and training, staying current with the latest advancements in pain management techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Stonebridge Pain Solutions, we serve a diverse patient population dealing with a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, neuropathic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, with a Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by a nationally recognized certifying body.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or a related clinical field.
• Exceptional ability to work both independently and within a team framework.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to treating individuals with chronic pain.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience in pain management is required, candidates with a demonstrated background in interventional procedures or a strong knowledge of chronic pain treatment paradigms will be given preference. Familiarity with EMR systems will also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
