Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging directly with clients requiring detoxification support. Although the majority of your work will occur remotely, you may occasionally be required to meet clients in the community or attend in-person meetings. Regular working hours will be reinforced, although flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend client needs may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental challenges to inform treatment planning.

• Develop individualized service plans with clear, actionable goals, ensuring continual progress monitoring and adjustment as necessary.

• Facilitate crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety plans for clients in urgent need.

• Act as a liaison between clients and community resources, connecting them with essential support services.

• Coordinate with interdepartmental teams and external agencies to streamline client care and advocacy.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote our services and raise awareness about substance abuse and recovery.

• Participate in case conferences, professional development training, and staff supervision meetings to enhance collaborative practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families dealing with substance use disorders, offering both intervention strategies and support resources tailored to their unique circumstances. You will work intimately with clients during their detox process, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to combat addiction and transition into long-term recovery solutions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
