Business Development Director

A specialist branding studio with three decades of experience and offices across four international markets is creating its first dedicated Business Development Director role in North America. They've built visual identities for globally recognised brands across food and beverage, spirits, cosmetics, and luxury categories - work that has set category standards and reached retail environments from premium outlets to major chains. The Role You'll architect the systematic North American growth strategy for a studio that converts exceptionally well once they're in the room. Your focus: building and managing the outbound pipeline that gets senior leadership in front of the right CPG and brand prospects across target categories. You'll lead prospecting, secure qualified meetings, then hand off relationships for conversion to leadership who have the portfolio and positioning to close. This means developing the pitch support materials, case studies, and collateral that translate three decades of branding expertise into sharp, sendable marketing tools. You'll maintain deep knowledge of the studio's visual identity capabilities to brief prospects effectively, working directly alongside senior leadership with full visibility of strategy and positioning. The mandate extends beyond their core CPG strength into hospitality, corporate identity, and new brand development - you're scaling proven capability, not building credibility from scratch. The Package $175,000–$185,000 Direct reporting line to senior leadership The Person A business development hunter currently operating at Director or Senior Business Development Manager level within CPG, spirits, or adjacent brand categories. You've built outreach systems from scratch and understand how to transition qualified prospects to senior teams for conversion. You're comfortable working closely with leadership and have systematic prospecting capabilities developed at an agency or consultancy where door-opening was your primary responsibility.
