While you will primarily work from home, occasional outreach would involve visiting clients in their communities or meeting in designated safe spaces to enhance therapeutic connection.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of clients, conducting thorough assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy to address presenting issues effectively.

• Establish lasting, positive relationships with clients by building trust and rapport, ensuring that they feel supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of medical professionals and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment and integrated care plans that reflect the needs and preferences of clients.

• Conduct regular screenings and assessments using evidence-based practices, making referrals or adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on client progress and objectives.

• Engage in crisis intervention when required, employing de-escalation techniques and creating safety plans for clients in acute distress.

• Participate actively in team meetings and committee work aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided, sharing insights and advocating for necessary changes.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client interactions, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Provide education and resource information to clients and their families, guiding them to additional support services and community resources.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, many of whom may be experiencing socio-economic challenges alongside their mental health struggles. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required; candidates must possess current LCSW licensure in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Rush Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
