Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate effectively with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to devise and synchronize mental health treatment protocols within our facility and extend support outside of our outpatient service.

• Lead mental health in-service training sessions for our medical, psychiatric, and security staff, ensuring everyone is equipped to recognize and respond to mental health needs.
\n
• Intervene and de-escalate emergencies related to mental health within the facility, utilizing your expertise to maintain a safe environment for both staff and clients.
\n
• Represent the organization at commitment hearings as required, advocating for the best interests of patients while adhering to legal protocols.
\n
• Formulate individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals tailored to the unique needs of each client, monitoring their progress regularly.
\n
• Thoroughly document patient interactions and maintain precise records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, upholding the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments to verify patient histories and the use of psychotropic medications, ensuring all decisions are informed and contextually relevant.
\n
• Prepare and submit timely reports on patient progress and any critical developments in their care, facilitating communication across the treatment team.
\n
• Coordinate with nursing and mental health staff to establish effective post-release referral pathways, ensuring continuity of care for discharged patients.

You will be serving a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges and complex life situations, including those recovering from substance abuse, trauma survivors, and individuals dealing with stress and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
