Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to create and coordinate individualized mental health treatment plans.

• Design and deliver mental health training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security personnel to enhance understanding and support for patients' mental health needs.
\n
• React promptly to mental health emergencies within the facility, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.
\n
• Participate in commitment hearings and provide necessary documentation when required, in accordance with legal and clinic protocols.
\n
• Assess patients by formulating personalized treatment goals and documenting progress accurately.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records of all patient interactions while ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
\n
• Verify patients' mental health histories, including past treatments and psychotropic medications, to inform therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Document and prepare regular and special reports detailing patient progress and insights for the treatment team.
\n
• Facilitate referrals and post-release support by collaborating effectively with nursing and mental health staff.
