Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources while gathering critical information to inform treatment.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy, specifically designed to support clients in detox.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that establish clear goals and evidence-based interventions, regularly evaluating and adjusting them based on client progress.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment framework, ensuring that clients receive well-rounded care.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques and risk assessments as necessary, providing safety planning to address immediate concerns.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely client documentation in adherence with ethical standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups aimed at promoting resilience and community among clients undergoing detox.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing substance use disorders alongside concurrent mental health issues. This requires a compassionate and informed approach as you navigate the complexities of addiction, trauma, and recovery. Your therapeutic interventions will help these individuals rebuild their lives, fostering resilience and equipping them with the tools necessary for sustained mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a focus on substance use treatment being highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and the ability to apply them effectively in varied clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
