Work Environment

Our Clearwater facility offers a state-of-the-art outpatient office environment, equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic modalities. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while maintaining productivity in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, reviewing pertinent medical history, performing physical assessments, and documenting findings to inform treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to explain evaluation results and co-develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals.
• Implement effective treatment protocols, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Exhibit exceptional time management skills to meet productivity benchmarks while maintaining thorough patient interaction and care.
• Participate in departmental goal setting and initiatives aimed at improving patient access to care and treatment outcomes.
• Contribute to the education of students and new staff by engaging in mentoring and instructional roles when applicable.
• Support marketing efforts through participation in community outreach and engagement activities to promote our services and enhance patient access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions. The role demands a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of individualized care, as our clients often include athletes, elderly individuals, and post-operative patients seeking to regain functional mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida state licensure for Physical Therapy is required.
• Proven ability to practice independently and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
• Excellence in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing exercise protocols specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with WebPT EMR Software is preferred for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Prior involvement in mentoring physical therapy students or new staff members.
• A history of continuing education courses related to innovative orthopedic rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
