Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be working onsite in our outpatient office located in beautiful Clearwater, Florida—a vibrant community known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to healthcare. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individual treatment plans targeted at preventing disabilities and alleviating pain, while optimizing the clients' functional potential.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective delivery of therapy services in line with established care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each client's functional abilities through detailed assessments, including muscle, nerve, and joint testing.
• Analyze clients' home environments to provide recommendations that enhance their independence during rehabilitation.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including manual therapeutic exercises, and coach clients through non-manual exercises to promote recovery.
• Implement treatment modalities such as traction and massage, utilizing physical agents for optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Assess, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, making recommendations for modifications to ensure clients' safety and comfort.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to formulate and adjust comprehensive care plans that align with best practices for holistic patient care.
• Document and track client progress through meticulous clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes to facilitate communication with the client's physician and case manager.
• Instruct clients and their families on the use of therapy devices and educate them about their overall therapy program.
• Remain accessible for consultation and support to Physical Therapy Assistants during client treatments, ensuring compliance with all state regulations.
• Complete additional assignments as needed to support the objectives of Refined Body Therapy Services, Inc.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of physical therapy needs—from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possess a valid PT license in good standing for the state of Florida.
• One year of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality patient care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Desire to engage in professional development and stay current with industry trends.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based practice methodologies.
• Previous engagement in patient/family education and community wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits
