The position is based in our Clearwater outpatient office, where you will work as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and document patient histories to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of advanced techniques and modalities to address pain, mobility, and functional limitations.
• Provide hands-on treatment to a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, ensuring compassionate and personalized care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and prevention strategies, fostering a collaborative approach to recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and goals based on clinical assessments and outcomes.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance communication and maximize patient outcomes across treatment settings.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives by meeting minimum utilization goals and contributing to clinic performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on outpatient therapy cases, allowing you to create meaningful relationships with a diverse patient population. This includes children, athletes, and adults of varying ages and medical backgrounds who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities to make a significant impact on individuals' recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective patient interactions.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient records.
• A passion for building relationships with patients and an eagerness to collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience dealing with a variety of physical therapy specialties, such as sports medicine or pediatrics, is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse patient caseload and contribute positively to a team-oriented workplace.

Compensation and Benefits
