Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care settings in Clearwater, Florida. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured routine while supporting your work-life balance. As a part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships with your patients and participate actively in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions to identify their goals and establish appropriate treatment plans that fulfill individual needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment methods to administer effective therapies aimed at improving patients' mobility and range of motion.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to support each patient's unique rehabilitation requirements.
• Foster collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment, providing motivation and support to enhance their functionality.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately to maintain clear communication and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will be engaging primarily with patients who require orthopedic rehabilitation due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their recovery, facilitating a return to daily activities and improving their overall quality of life. Our diverse clientele includes elderly patients, post-operative individuals, and those requiring mobility assistance due to various health issues.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Maintain a clean disciplinary record with no board actions against your license.
• Be proficient in manual therapy techniques and have a strong foundation in designing and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Demonstrate familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to accurately document patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to administer cost-effective therapies and minimize medication dependence through non-surgical alternatives.

Compensation and Benefits
