Work Environment

This full-time position is set in a supportive home care environment where you will work closely with patients in their residences, allowing them to receive therapy in a comfortable and familiar setting. Our team comprises highly trained professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to provide comprehensive care. The role requires a hands-on approach to therapy, focusing on one-on-one interactions to foster strong patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific goals, needs, and limitations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities and design appropriate intervention strategies.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions, to enhance mobility and promote healing.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment during treatments to encourage patients' commitment to their rehabilitation journey.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and observed progress, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to patients on injury prevention, wellness, and how to maintain physical health post-therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recovery, or chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse group of individuals, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, each with specific challenges and health goals. Your ability to connect and communicate effectively with these patients will be essential in guiding their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Completed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapist License, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Proven competencies in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise, supporting effective patient outcomes.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a history of successful patient treatment.
• Strong background in implementing evidence-based practices and patient education on maintaining physical health.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and private pay systems is advantageous, as our facility primarily accepts private medical insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
