Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of each patient's physical therapy needs, focusing on orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain and improve functionality.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, ensuring that all interventions align with established goals.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants, providing guidance in executing care plans and ensuring adherence to best practices in patient management.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations that assess patients' strength, flexibility, and functional mobility, employing various diagnostic tests and measures.
• Collaborate with physicians and case managers to facilitate coordinated care and address any concerns regarding patient progress or treatment efficacy.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case conferences to discuss patient progress and modify care strategies as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including initial evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
