Thriving Journey Therapy, PLLC is looking for a compassionate and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team on Clearwater Beach, Florida. This full-time, onsite position provides an opportunity to significantly enhance the quality of life for our patients through targeted physical therapy interventions. You will work closely with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, or chronic conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to assess, treat, and educate patients on their rehabilitation journeys.

Work Environment

You will work in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility, equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and a compassionate team of professionals dedicated to patient growth and recovery. Our office adheres to a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that practitioners maintain a work-life balance. This role allows you to utilize your skills in a supportive atmosphere, enabling effective collaboration with other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at restoring, maintaining, or improving function and mobility in line with physician directives.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic assessments, including muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional capability tests.
• Facilitate therapeutic exercise programs, including manual therapy and supervised exercise sessions, guiding patients in both individual and group settings.
• Administer advanced modalities like traction, massage, and other physical agents to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.
• Evaluate and customize prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring proper fit and function, while communicating necessary adjustments to physicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation from joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work with clients across different age groups, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs, enabling them to regain independence and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be given preference.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient settings, specifically in orthopedics, geriatrics, or other relevant areas.
• Proven proficiency in orthopedic assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care strategies.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and organizational abilities, necessary for effective patient interaction and care documentation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation technologies.
• Background in multidisciplinary team collaboration, enhancing patient care through integrated approaches.
• Continued education in the latest orthopedic therapy advancements and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, accompanied by performance-based bonuses.
