Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, requiring your presence in the homes of patients receiving care, offering an unparalleled setting to establish meaningful patient relationships. You will be working closely with another Physical Therapist and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), creating a collaborative atmosphere focused on effective rehabilitation practices. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Evaluating patients' needs and creating comprehensive care plans that outline specific treatment strategies tailored to their individual objectives.
• Employing various rehabilitation techniques to enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall physical capabilities.
• Managing a caseload with a balanced approach of one-on-one therapy, dedicating a full hour to each patient to address their specific challenges and goals.
• Incorporating evidence-based interventions to deliver high-quality treatment and reduce dependency on medications, focusing on non-surgical alternatives.
• Motivating and encouraging patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive environment conducive to healing and rehabilitation.
• Designing customized fitness and wellness programs that promote healthy lifestyles and enhance coordination, flexibility, and strength.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care meticulously to track progress and treatment outcomes, facilitating seamless communication among health professionals.
• Collaborating with other healthcare specialists to ensure well-rounded support for patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services revolves around orthopedic patients who may be dealing with a range of musculoskeletal conditions. These may include post-surgical rehabilitation, injury recovery, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions and board complaints.
• Proficient skills in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience working with WebPT EMR software for streamlined documentation management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following will be preferred:

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ideally with a focus on home care services.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing rehabilitation programs, specifically for post-operative patients.
• A familiarity with fitness assessments and developing wellness plans tailored to individual needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
