Our collaborative environment comprises a small yet highly skilled team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance and operate from a specialized home care setting, ensuring patients receive personalized treatment in the comfort of their homes.

Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires onsite work, providing a unique opportunity to engage with patients in their home environments. The clinic's home care model allows for a more personalized approach to therapy, emphasizing the importance of tailored interventions and the ability to adjust treatment plans based on day-to-day observations of patients. Your work hours will generally be from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, which allows for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through thorough evaluations and develop achievable treatment goals in collaboration with the patient.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions at patient homes, managing a caseload that promotes intensive focus on individual progress.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, targeted to improve patients' motion and mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress to evaluate treatment efficacy and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Implement patient-specific fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and promote a healthy lifestyle throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain open lines of communication with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all services rendered accurately, maintaining compliance with clinical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation after surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our focus on home care enables you to develop strong therapeutic relationships, providing tailored rehabilitation strategies that reflect each patient's unique lifestyle and recovery goals. This role directly contributes to their recovery processes, helping them to regain independence and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in Florida, free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy and exercise program development essential for treating orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, emphasizing hands-on rehabilitation.
• Experience in home health or similar environments, showcasing adaptability and patient-centered service.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education allowances.
