Work Environment

Your workplace will be diverse and dynamic, involving regular travel to the homes of our patients in the Clearwater, Florida area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients, assessing their physical conditions and mobility limitations based on physician referrals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for various patient profiles, focusing particularly on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Utilize advanced techniques and therapeutic practices to execute treatment plans in patients' homes, aiming to restore functionality and alleviate pain.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with essential knowledge for ongoing recovery and self-management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure all care approaches are comprehensive and patient-centered, applying evidence-based care practices.
• Maintain clear and open communication with patients, documenting progress and adjusting treatment goals accordingly.
• Meet minimum utilization benchmarks and contribute to the overall effectiveness and success of the therapy program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Fountain Hills Fitness Center, you will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Engaging with a diverse range of patients, you will focus on providing customized treatment approaches that cater to individuals of all ages, fostering recovery that aligns with each patient's unique goals and needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on patient education.
• Proficient with word processing and computer skills to maintain accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

Fountain Hills Fitness Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by performance-based incentives.
