Work Environment

As an Onsite Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment alongside fellow health professionals. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balance between patient care and your professional commitments. Your role will be essential in fostering a positive therapeutic atmosphere that emphasizes healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their medical histories and individual physical therapy goals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to meet specific patient needs.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions focused on improving patient mobility and function, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Stay engaged and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process to facilitate optimal functional outcomes.
• Regularly reassess patients to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment approaches and modify care plans as necessary.
• Coordinate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients, reinforcing a multidisciplinary approach.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for home exercise programs, lifestyle adjustments, and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative conditions, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your focus will be on enabling patients to regain independence and improve their overall health and mobility, tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree or Doctorate in a related field is preferred.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A passion for patient rehabilitation, demonstrated through at least two years of hands-on experience in orthopedic settings.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong spatial awareness and the capacity to manage patients with varying physical and psychological needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with implementing innovative treatment techniques and modalities specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using technology and therapy equipment relevant to patient assessments and ongoing treatments.
• A distinguished record of patient engagement and positive feedback in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits
