This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs while adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal systems using advanced diagnostic techniques, capturing data on muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional abilities.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, while motivating patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilizing specialized treatments, including traction and massage, to enhance recovery and alleviate pain.
• Assessing and recommending the appropriate use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring modifications are communicated effectively to the referring physician.
• Documenting patient progress in electronic medical records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
• Coaching patients on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to prevent injuries and promote long-term health benefits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletic injuries, and age-related mobility challenges. Our patients range from young athletes seeking to enhance their performance to older adults striving to maintain their independence. Your role will emphasize patient education, ensuring clients understand their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment protocols.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least two years of relevant experience in orthopedic settings, focusing on patient assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to patients, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills to address challenges and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for streamlined documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with additional specialization in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or geriatric care will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
