Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and recovery goals.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical function, taking into account diagnostic tests and patient history.
• Administering various treatment methods such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, traction, and the utilization of physical agents to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and preparing comprehensive clinical records including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborating with Physical Therapy Assistants to facilitate patient treatment, ensuring that protocols and plans are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care strategies and to coordinate holistic treatment approaches.
• Educating patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and lifestyle modifications that promote independence and enhance recovery.
• Remaining current on best practices and advancements in physical therapy through professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients of varying age groups who may be recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions impacting their physical function. Your expertise will guide patients through rehabilitation, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

While prior work experience is not required, candidates with two or more years in an orthopedic setting may receive preferential consideration. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
